Hey everybody,
Got into DJ after reading Our Band Could Be Your Life. Actually had the pleasure of meeting J while working alone at a small vintage guitar store and had a decent conversation with him. He walked in while I was reading and looked around and said: "ummm…you got any Jazzmasters?" and I almost cracked up it was so scripted. Bought a nice acoustic guitar from us and was cool to me. Can’t complain about having the chance to watch J rip out guitar licks for your own private viewing on a handful of guitars. One other kid came in the store and started finding excuses to hang around lol and gave me this furtive "DUDE!!" look.
Anyway, good stuff. I also got a band of my own and one reason I started paying more attention to DJ was that people kept telling us we sound like them, I think in part because of our drummer and that I play a Jazzmaster.
