I’ve got this compilation, and I like it, it might not be the very best tracks of all the bands, but it is a good introduction (and there is not much on it that makes you jump to the skip-button of your cd-player…. ), and (over here) it was available for a very friendly price… (…..and it includes East River Pipe’s excellent "Shiny Shiny Pimpmobile"….. )

Fine stuff from East River Pipe, M. Ward, Richard Buckner, and a very fine cover of Yo La Tengo’s ‘Decora’ by Spoon, and like I said, the rest doesn’t make you jump to the skip-button as well, only the Lambchop track is a slight disappointment…..

hey annastefka, i’d say keep the cd – it might grow on you … plus, there’s nothing wrong w/hanging onto a cd for its aesthetic (cover art) value alone
