it is cool because no one around here really knows who j / dino is. never heard of him or the tunes. so i just listen by myself. it is very cool when j plays live and it seems like the fans come out of the woodwork to see him live. it’s a pretty good feeling to be in a big room and have everyone singing songs that you thought only you knew.

Had a presentation to a client today, and have a screensaver of J on my laptop.

Now, in my line of work (I deal with mainly with VC’s and Investment Banks) you don’t expect to meet many J fans. So imagine my consternation when the client declared "is that J Mascis on your laptop??!!"

So J could well have got me a deal. Freaksceners of the world unite!
