Late yesterday, Okay, I know some of you guys say you hear "feel the pain" in public a lot………….I can count the times I have heard that song on the radio in my life……..twice.
I was with a friend in Labor yesterday at Athens Regional Hospital, I could only stay a short time and as I was leaving, I was getting ready to round the corner headed for the elevators and I heard "feel the pain" playing out loud, I came upon a waiting area with a television and a group of old timers smushed up together on the couch watching a Paris Hilton Special on E television.
Played only 10 seconds or so but as always was happy to hear it.
J, I hope received a check in the mail.I was always under the impression that one could use any music as long as it was under 10 seconds but I think this is not true….my husband, makes noise (not music) but he keeps freakin’ selling like 10 seconds,20 seconds here and there and getting paid for it………Travel Channel, Discovery Channel, MTV, on and on………….
No, J and Paris didn’t get hurt together, they just got put together in some post prodution room at E-Television, and I happened to see/hear it in the hospital just after leaving a friend who was feeling a lot of pain…………..it was a special moment for me. I thought it was priceless.
stood there for several minutes, enough to learn the special was on the spending habits of Paris Hilton.

Warner Bros may own the rights or at least to use the music commercially. Dino is on as backround all the time on VH-1. But also all that a musician can own is the lyrics and melody and they were only playing the instrumetnal part.

I don’t often get a chance to see a tv, yes it was just the instrumental part and I don’t know anything about entertainment/music/copyright law, my husbands stuff has no lyrics or melody and he is getting paid for it. He keeps getting little 3 and 4 hundred dollor checks in the mail……….it’s sort of funny, and good and leaves me scratching my head.Paris Hilton, I have no words only, with all of that money, could her parents have not brought her up with a little more class…….. gotten her a good European education, primed her for a life of philanthropy. She is absolutely vapid! Perhaps she suffered at birth from lack of oxygen and so this "thing" that she does is really her only option and we should have sympathy. I have a boy with a stinky diaper running around my house so I have to go do my "thing".
I swear I hear "Feel the Pain" on every damn Vh1 countdown, every E True Life Special, and randomly on other misc. channels.
Speaking of dino sightings, and I am sure someone posted this in my absence, did anyone ever notice Rachel McAdams wearing a Dinosaur jr. shirt in "The Family Stone?" She is pretty adorable so it was a nice cinematic moment.
