I’m still recovering from the fun I had last night. Saw Pigface with Thrill Kill Kult, Zeromancer, and Bile. It was a seriously high energy show. I rocked my butt off and drank too much.
The industrial scene is a wierd one. Most bands are only semi-industrial boarding on either metal, rock, or techno. So the people who come to these shows are a mixed bag. But there are always goths. While standing in line outside the venue, it was amusing to watch the faces of people in their cars as they wait at the light. They all looked curiously at the line. It was a blur of black.
The one guy that stood out the most to me was wearing a Linkin Park shirt under a hideous club shirt. I was like, omg. How dare he?!?!
Interestingly, Pigface had an eBay auction going before the tour started. For $1000 you could get married on stage with Pigface and hang out with the band. Lucky me, I got to witness it, here in Atlanta. *shrug*
