Oh, no need my way. I’m quite alright as is everyone I know.
Feel pity for our NY/NYC members – they’re the ones I’m worried about.

That’s a good one, I have another:
"Yes…
I can’t believe the news today
Oh, I can’t close my eyes
And make it go away
How long…
How long must we sing this song?
How long? How long…
’cause tonight…we can be as one
Tonight…Broken bottles under children’s feet
Bodies strewn across the dead end street
But I won’t heed the battle call
It puts my back up
Puts my back up against the wallSunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody SundayAnd the battle’s just begun
There’s many lost, but tell me who has won
The trench is dug within our hearts
And mothers, children, brothers, sisters
Torn apartSunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody SundayHow long…
How long must we sing this song?
How long? How long…
’cause tonight…we can be as one
Tonight…tonight…Sunday, Bloody Sunday
Sunday, Bloody SundayWipe the tears from your eyes
Wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
Oh, wipe your tears away
(Sunday, Bloody Sunday)
Oh, wipe your blood shot eyes
(Sunday, Bloody Sunday)Sunday, Bloody Sunday (Sunday, Bloody Sunday)
Sunday, Bloody Sunday (Sunday, Bloody Sunday)And it’s true we are immune
When fact is fiction and TV reality
And today the millions cry
We eat and drink while tomorrow they die(Sunday, Bloody Sunday)
The real battle just begun
To claim the victory Jesus won
On…Sunday Bloody Sunday
Sunday Bloody Sunday…"September 11, 2001 at 10:33 pm #71552Armageddon days are here (again) – The The
They’re 5 miles high as the crow flies
Leaving vapour trails against a blood red sky
Moving in from the East towards the West
With Balaclava helmets over their heads, yesBut if you think that Jesus Christ is coming
Honey you’ve got another thing coming
If he ever finds out who’s hi-jacked his name
He’ll cut out his heart and turn in his graveIslam is rising
The Christians mobilising
The world is on its elbows and knees
It’s forgotten the message and worships the creedsIt’s war, she cried
It’s war, she cried
This is war
Drop your possessions all you simple folk
You’ll fight them on the beaches in your underclothes
You’ll thank the good Lord for raising the Union Jack
You’ll watch the ships sail out of harbour
And the bodies come floating back
Watch the ships sail out of harbour
And the bodies come floating backBut if you think that Jesus Christ is coming
Honey you’ve got another thing coming
If he ever finds out who’s hi-jacked his name
He’ll cut out his heart and turn in his graveIslam is rising
The Christians mobilising
The world is on its elbows and knees
It’s forgotten the message and worships the creeds"Get the gun, get the gun, get the gun"
"Stay away from the gun, stay away from the gun"If the real Jesus Christ were to stand up today
He’d be gunned down cold by the CIA
Oh, the lights that now burn brightest behind stained glass
Will cast the darkest shadows upon the human heart
But God didn’t build himself that throne
God doesn’t live in Israel or Rome
God doesn’t belong to the yankee dollar
God doesn’t plant the bombs for Hezbollah
God doesn’t even go to church
And God won’t send us down to Allah to burn
God will remind us what we already know
That the human race is about to reap what it’s sownIslam is rising
The Christians mobilising
The world is on its elbows and knees
It’s forgotten the message and worships the creedsArmageddon days are here again

September 11, 2001 at 11:10 pm #71555Just heard the Presidential address…..
I could be wrong, but if there was an question of whether or not this is an international incident, it might get answered as one if no answers are found. I hope that one comment was more heat of the moment or that I am reading more into it than need be.Red Cross told me to call back in the morning here, so I will have to swallow my tears for an evening at Freakscene.
As far as pity, I think NYC is obvious. I simply recalled your proximity and made a gesture of empathy in that context, Jaron. You seemed pretty shook up in the previous pages. I am too.
TomSeptember 11, 2001 at 11:54 pm #71556Hey,
Pretty shook up over here as well, been repeating the words OMFG every couple of minutes since early this am. Chatting with Salamiguy this am and he told me about it, I thought he was joking around giving me some storyline from a Superman comic or something, if only
All my thoughts are with anyone who has friends & loved ones in the areas involved. Heres hoping there is swift and accurate justice!!!
I am pretty frightened as to where this could go and how things could change for all of us.

I wish we had a democrat as President all the time…
September 12, 2001 at 2:20 am #71558I don’t think this is going to be a WWIII scale event, but these actions are an act of war… We are now at war with whatever group caused this tragedy. They’ve woke the sleeping dragon, and heads are going to roll over this. I only hope we get the guilty party, but like I said, any group claiming responsability should be acted upon.
I can’t even think about how this event is going to completely restructure both the US economy and way of life. How much freedom are we going to have to give up to ‘protect’ us from future terrorism???
PS: I’m hearing that Osami Ben Ladin is pretty much the only one with the resources to pull this off… Its gonna get a lot worse before it gets better….

I meant Pearl Harbor as in the scale of the tragedy, not in that it would kick off another world war. I certainly don’t want that, but I do want some kind of action taken against the terrorists.

Oh, OK, I can agree with that.
Apparently, the downed plane in Pennsylvania was trying for Camp David they believe.
September 12, 2001 at 2:36 am #71561Just want to say that I hope to God that you’re all ok, and that the same goes for those near you. It’s all too fucked to be true.
