And finally… yes, it’s time for our obligatory visit to Obscure Vinyl-Only Corner. Not that obscure this week, though; erstwhile Dinosaur Jr hombre J Mascis is back in a strictly seven-inch kind of way on City Slang, combining his recentish album track ‘Waistin’, delivered with an entirely appropriate air of disillusion as, bizarrely, a pet shop’s worth of birds get all twittery around banks of expansive keyboards that erupt in a manner not dissimilar to the out-of-the-blue euphoria of R.E.M.’s ‘The Lifting’ (off ‘Reveal’. You did know that, right?), with an endearingly high-pitched and ultimately ramshackle blast through ‘Leaving On A Jet Plane’. J don’t know when he’ll be back again. We suggest you buy just in case…

It will be released as a Cds in Europe
Its not Released Yet, Still Waiting [img]images/smiles/converted/smilie_s.gif[/img]
But in the UK there will be only a 7 Inch
