Can anyone tell me how I can change a ppj file to be .avi, .mpg or .mov. I thought I could take my premier ppj file and send it over to the computer with the windows movie maker, but wmm could not open the ppj file. Do I need some kind of converter software. I am trying to do this with out asking my husband for help, I’ve come so far only to be stopped at the last moment…………. Perhaps I can change the file within Premier but the damn thing is so complex that I need a help topic inside of help just to help understand HELP, that sucks.

Thanks, I tried that, I got to file and then found export and then movie, I put in the file name and it went ahead and put the .mov after, I hit save, but I can’t find it……………..It looked as if it was going to save it to desktop, I guess I should just go ahead and take a computer class like my husband is always suggesting.
Thanks, I have it somewhere saved in mov file. I looked on the internet and found a tutorial for Premier, I was excited, I thought it was free, only to find they want over $200. bucks for it, I asked my husband to sit down with me and help and he said I should do what "men" do………..Whats that? They just jump in and do it, they learn by doing it, I just get frustrated when it goes so slow……………………………………………….

all of the above plus >settings to bump it down to size, we lost a lot in resolution, but thanks to your help sludge, it happened.

I love how you edited the flight sequence.

              Great job, Pasolini…

The children shot and edited this themselves, they put the camera on the dash of the family "work" van, they edited that flight sequence in camera, this was our first time on premier so I had to do most of the hands on for them, although it works simular to windows mm, I’m so old school editing (my major in school) that I used to tape my "clips" to a wall, and then pick them out one by one for the splice. Sound of course was on 1/4 inch tape, That I was always leaving in a plastic bag in someones house or something, all this video stuff was just coming out, like the sony r m 440, bay editors, when I was leaving school. I went straight into making babies so I’m just now learning this stuff.

Do you work with Premier? Yes, the first week of December always rocks Rich, because it is usually the first week of Advent, Which means we get our Christmas party started……… ;D
