What is the meaning of this song. The Lyric "I’m a little boy w/ my feet nailed to the ground" makes it sound like Lou was depressed or something when writing it. And What does the word poledo mean?

Poledo means …. poledo. It’s a nonsense word like Sebadoh, SenTRIdoh, etc …

It is mentioned in "Our Band Could Be Your Life" that Lou wrote Poledo to be somekind of a "could-I-get-a-girlfriend" song.

Lou was always depressed in the old days. When he finally got a girlfriend and got married, he got less whiney and depressed. Thank god, too. There’s nothing more annoying than a middle-aged depressed whiner. Rock on Lou!
