Hey I live for that look.
April 17, 2006 at 10:46 am #116388id be cool if they did but is there some reason we should think they might? or is it just wishful thinking?
April 17, 2006 at 10:56 am #116389I would rather them play something new from the new album first before hearing Blowing it/ I live for that look. Why this question are they rumored to be playing it?
April 17, 2006 at 1:20 pm #116390I don’t think they’ll play it but I can see how they’d be getting antsy w/ the limited setlists. Years ago when Lou was on 120 Minutes with Bob Mould he asked him something about touring w/ Dino and he said something like "yeah ….. same set every night …. <big>".

Years ago when Lou was on 120 Minutes with Bob Mould he asked him something about touring w/ Dino and he said something like "yeah ….. same set every night …. <big>".I saw that too, and was struck by how Mould was sagely nodding along with Lou, since if anyone can be accused of playing the same goddamn set, the exact same way, night after night after night after night, it’s Bob "no surprises" Mould. I think ol’ Bob at that point was getting a little jealous that J was getting better press and moving more records than he was.
At least with this whole J, Lou, Murph thing there’s an ethic behind the repetitive setlists — though why they haven’t resurrected "Let It Ride" and "They Always Come," or throw in "Yeah We Know" more often, is still beyond me. I find it a little frustrating that J doesn’t play stuff (except "Alone") from Hand It Over with the Fog. There’s lots of stuff on there that sounded great live when Dino toured that album. Here’s hoping that when J hits the road with the Fog again he’ll be so sick of the first three Dino albums that he’ll start digging further into later Dino material for their sets.

Well, I guess they don’t listen to me….
April 24, 2006 at 8:48 am #116397I really wanted to hear "Yeah We Know" or "Budge." I, too, was surprised that these didn’t pop up more.

I, too, was surprised that these didn’t pop up more.I didn’t get to hear "Yeah We Know" at all, but they played "Budge" all five times I saw them last year. I think they only recently dropped it. "The Post" only makes rare appearances, too — Boston and the second Irving Plaza night were the only times I heard it.
April 24, 2006 at 10:04 am #116399I heard Yeah We Know in Seattle last August. I really would have liked to seen Budge and the Post though. To bad thay didn’t so Bug start to finish like they did YLAOM in England, that would be cool.
