….well, that’s the perfect way to describe the gig, it was excellent, it rocked like nothing else den Buck has seen the last couple of days/weeks/months/years, just plain amazing, well, den Buck is a little lost for words (…and that doesn’t happen too often…. )Alison’s set list looks all right to me, Mike Watt did all the vocals, except for ‘No Fun’, which was sung by the guy from Sparta (sorry, don’t know his name…), he now has a great story to tell to his grandchildren….
ps. Sparta were anaother absolute highlight, full Pukkelpop report coming up later……
pps. check out the pictures!
August 25, 2002 at 2:04 am #52221hey, you can find a discussion about recording video streams here , but I don’t know if it is useful for live streams, too…

I didn’t manage to record it, but with some nice company it was big fun August 25, 2002 at 5:53 pm #52223got it recorded but will transfer it to MP3 soon…
August 26, 2002 at 2:26 am #52224Thanks Lard for the audio recording and Allison for the list, can’t wait to hear it. The photos look cool and everyone is having a fun time ROCK-N! Did the singer from Sparta have the lyrics on his arm?
Thanks all for your efforts (Lard you rock for recording it!) maybe some got the video to share too????
If anyone is curious the football game was good. The Saints kicked the Bengals ass. The stadium is really nice too. I already have my tickets for the next meeting on Dec. 22, should be some realy cold beer that day.

August 26, 2002 at 11:36 am #52225You’re probably right about those being the lyrics to the song, although they didn’t seem to help him much. He pretty much followed Watts lead for awhile, then jumped into the audience for a bit. He did sing the phrase come on a lot though…sounded cool
Hope they archive bits of that show, really was quite the thrill!!!! J really did seem to be enjoying himself, I like the clean shaven look Watt had going
