Sorry haven’t got a clue on that one, maybe it’s not an exclusive kinda deal. If you check the cologne show review it says J’s g’friend was selling shirts/discs I just assumed it was Louisa, could be wrong. They looked pretty happy together in a pic I saw reading Watt’s road diary though.

I know i do wonder about J’s life from time to time. He’s a very secretive kinda guy. I think it’s just natural. On the other hand, I did have a chance to meet and talk to him (at a show he stood and watched directly in front of me) but I couldn’t to it. What could you say? "Hi J. You don’t know me, but please tell me everything about you?" I know i get weirded out when people i don’t know talk to me like they know me.
I work at a recording studio and have worked with some pretty well known folks, e.g. Black Crowes, Trent Reznor, STP, Zwan to name a couple and all were quite personable, for the most part. I saw J a couple of times when I lived outside Northampton MA. I saw he, burt and a couple other guys play Zeke Fiedler covers at the Baystate Hotel for like 7 people. I talked to him afterwards for a second, but he seems like he just like talking to people very much. He wasn’t a jerk at all, just seemed shy.

J has actually been very cool with people at shows, getting pics taken and answering questions frequently. He has, it seems to me anyways, been giving a lot more press interviews thru this past year, video interviews, phone interviews, chat question sessions, personal etc so he has been answering a lot of questions about his music etc. If you check in the J Mascis Tour forum there are a couple of cool accounts of people meeting J at the German shows [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] If you have the time/interest/patience there are numerous accounts of J taking the time to talk to people at the shows from the More Light tour…very very cool [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] I had the chance to ask a lot of questions at a chat session from Oz, it was very different than an in person kinda situation though [img]images/smiles/icon_biggrin.gif[/img] In person I would probably babble something silly and ask what his fav Hellacopters song is [img]images/smiles/icon_eek.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img] [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img] …actually I do really want to know that [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]

I really dont "care" about his personal life…i mean i do want him to be happy but i dont care about gossips or something…i gave the wrong impression…i guess finding someone special isnt easy…sharing isnt easy coz we have learnt to behave in a selfish way so we make it harder…Hey Allison,
I’m not sure I’d ask J about the bears, he is afterall a Mass boy and may be a patriots fan, he may be still feeling the pain of 85 (no pun intended). When I lived in Mass I always liked to remind my friends of the devestating defeat.

J is nothing like you would expect if you have believed all the shit that is fed to you through lame ass ‘rock journalists’. Hell half the articles I have about J appear to be bullshit whine sessions from people that just do that as a job and are offended when J does not act like a trained seal and jump at their every word [img]images/smiles/icon_rolleyes.gif[/img]
If you see him after a show say hey. I’m sure he likes to hear that you enjoy what he is doing! He is a really funny guy and has no problem keeping up his end of the conversation as some would have you believe [img]images/smiles/icon_wink.gif[/img]
