      You can hear J on slide on Cats In A Bowl on the first album :)

          Love to tap into the collective conscience that is the Freakscene Forum.

          OK. J doesn’t seem like a big "pay homage to the great one’s" kinda guy so, it’s always bugged me why he would throw in that oh so famous Clapton lick at the end of Get Me.
          Has anyone heard him comment on this? It’s very cool, but still kinda weird coming from him….

            J said before he likes the Derek And The Dominoes album(Layla And Other Lovesongs);I think he said it was one of the records that he practiced guitar with.I really like that album too,I have it on vinyl :( I miss my turntable :'(

              Hmmm, weird, and an intresting bit of trivia. Derek and the Dominoes was released almost five years before 461 Ocean Boulevard and Duane Allman played most of the "meat" of the Layla Sessions. But hey, J’s the man.
