I’m going to see Dinosaur this coming Tuesday in Eugene. If I see J and get to talk to him I’m going to ask him this question. I wonder if he’ll get pissed, or just think I’m a fuckin’ weirdo. Great question though, it needs to be asked.

Well at least in Swedish, "fÃ¥ tummen ur arslet" (get the thumb out of one’s ass) means that it’s time to go the fuck ahead and do something, rather than planning it, thinking or talking about it. Time for action. "FÃ¥ arslet ur vagnen" (get one’s ass outta the wagon) means the exact same thing.
I would like to know the solo to Sludgefeast is rarely played live. A large number of shows Ive off FreeSoFree have the song cut off and not the usual tasty solo that follows the recorded version.

I’d like to know if J’s a Bob Stinson era ‘Mats fan. I think it’s in Jim Walsh’s All Over But The Shouting that Westerberg talks about hearing Bob’s style in other bands, Dinosaur Jr being one of his given examples. I’ve never heard him mentioned in any Dino interviews but surely PW is right about everything?
