This is what I need from you Freak Sceners, I need names and email addresses of clubs that have us play anywhere on the east coast. We’re starting out on the east and we’ll see how that goes. From Florida to Maine, probably not that far inland……(i.e. Arkansas Indiana etc.). I am looking for some stuff in Atlanta as well, so my FS people down there, this is for you as well. I need help……help us! Thanks….Randy Jane.
June 22, 2006 at 9:04 pm #118396Here are a few places in Maryland that you guys could probably play at:

http://www.diamondniteclub.com/”>http://www.diamondniteclub.com/That’s all I’ve really got. Despite the fact that I’m in a band, we’re losers and couldn’t draw enough people to fill those places so we just stick to people’s basements.
June 22, 2006 at 9:11 pm #118397wow, that was fast….thanks keep ’em coming…..should get one close to J. maybe he could come to one…..*riiight….keep dreaming*

June 22, 2006 at 9:27 pm #118398hey…not finding anything about the 40 love club….found the 40 watt club…..which I doubt we could play at….couldn’t fill that place with "warm" bodies as their site says.

June 23, 2006 at 12:14 am #118399go to the booking page.
Q. We are a local band. How do we get to play the 40 Watt?
A. With so many bands into down there are some important things to keep in mindPLAY SMALLER VENUES FIRST
Every band works their way up to the big stage. Before we can offer you a slot at the 40 Watt we need to know that you can put warm bodies in the room. Playing here costs more for sound and door production than smaller venues. Make sure you can bring enough people here to make it worth your time.so…..we have no fanbase really in Athens……in GA in fact I think we have like 2 fans. 2 people aren’t going to do it.

June 23, 2006 at 10:25 am #118400You can still play there, only you’ll be playing to a small crowd. The venue probably won’t kick you out if a bunch of people don’t show, but you’ll have a hard time playing there again.
June 24, 2006 at 3:56 pm #118401hey lookitssam….we really dont care! We’ll play in basements too!! We’re used to that as well. har har. So if you have something planned sometime around the end of the year, October on….let me know. We still have 0 dates so far :- But I’m still working on it.
June 24, 2006 at 6:02 pm #118402Cool. I’ll let you know if something comes up.
June 26, 2006 at 8:02 pm #118403Mr. Deepsludge sir, may I have a piece of that interesting cake please?
Anyways, anyone know of anything else? I really don’t care what or where it is…..well, excluding Nazi parties or anything like that.

The Masqerade eh? My sister went there about a year ago to see KottonMouth Kings and ICP, she said that it was a really kool place. If I could play in one of the smaller sections then I dont see a problem with that place, but I dont really see Randy Jane getting a crowd to come in. There would just be the people I tell about the shows, and maybe like one Freakscener at most of the shows. I realize this isn’t this smartest move ever, but when am I going to get a "real" tour? I think the "We Dont Care, We’ll Play It" tour is a decent idea, I’m picking up a second job (hopefully) and the uh…"proceeds" will go towards the tour. Wendy’s doesnt even pay enough for living for two weeks, so I slapped in an app. at Little Ceaser’s down the street. I’m hoping that an "extra" $300-$350 every two weeks will help for affording the touring. If this tour does decently, I would care to venture other places in the U.S. and maybe like….you know…..Canadia! I know a certain someone on these boards might like that…not sure, but she may.
Anywho…..this is a long post now, bye!
Randy Jane.June 27, 2006 at 6:23 am #118404Maxwells in Hoboken is a place you could play at.
June 27, 2006 at 9:38 am #118405There’s a couple of Canadias around here
Would like to see you get your tour off
Here are a couple of my suggestions: make a small vid for youtube or make yourselves a myspace page (unless you already have one); depending on what your specs are or what your style is–find a venue/touring magazine where they list venues for indie bands or call on a manager or indie producers to give you suggestions on how to get going; talk to other local bands to maybe set up and play with them; first start in your hometown and then try to figure out what you can do stateside… anyway, hope some of this helps
June 27, 2006 at 6:53 pm #118406Great suggestions Fata!
Would love to see RJ in Canada, good luck with the plans!
July 5, 2006 at 11:35 pm #118407I really hope that this tour thing works. As it stands, I don’t think anyone likes me and I just want to be dead now. I really need some love.
