reissues question – Centre of the Universe

I remeber reading an interview years ago in Record collector.

one of the best interviews with J i’ve read actually.

anyway they ask J if there were any other songs that din’t make the first LP and He says there was one called ‘Centre of the Universe’

does anyone know anything about this?

could it be part of the reissues?

do you know if J has his copy of the freakscene video yet?

my friends brother used to avidly record music from the TV using a betamax video recorder (better quality).

That video was actually filmed in a place called Cheadle in the UK which is like 2 miles from where I’m sat. The video was filmed especially for a programme called Snub TV and as such i am pretty sure my friends’s brother recorded it.

the problem is finding a working betamax video player to link to a computer…

I have my own VHS copy of that video which is tacked onto the start of a bootleg video of a show in Australia… this isn’t isn’t great quality – in fact it’s quite poor… but i used to watch it all the time
