It was Fugazi, and it was freezing.

God damn, it was freezing.

Jaron,

Do not go to an outside concert w/ a wind chill of 12 degrees with no coat. Do you think you’re amphibious? I take it you were not down in the pit, insulated by the sweaty bodies of random, emotionally repressed strangers.

What the hell is Fugazi doing playing outdoors in March? It’s still winter on the east coast, hello.

bundle up,

Heh, I know who’s not gonna survive if he’s ever stranded in the wilderness…

You’re outside, it’s cold… Stop your whinin’ and build a fire already…

"Coolest" experience I’ve ever had was an open-air festival, lasting a whole day, temperature about 10 degrees (Celsius), and a torrential downpour lasting the whole festival, and we had to endure acts like the Communards and In Tua Nua…., it was even too cold to drink a beer, but somehow we had smuggled our bottles of Jagermeister in, and that stuff saved us from being frozen to death!!

Luckily Husker Du and Echo and the Bunnymen saved the day musically somehow….

I swear that Fugazi would play just about anywhere;outside in the cold problably did`nt make a difference to them;they played here in a bingo hall,a school gym in the next province,I heard they played homeless shelters, prisons, churches(Jawbox`s first gig was with Fugazi in a church)so outside in the winter was just another gig for them.
They`ll problably play on Mount Everest someday.

ps-it`s -18 here,no outside gigs going on here

Hey!

Get what we deserve nobody deserves this kinda deal…

Great example of a Big Bite Me to the weather is a film festival in feb hosting an outdoor theatre with a screen made of ice Showed a bunch of cool cartoons etc, had fire pits all around as it was about -27 at the time. So like I said don’t let the weather get in your way this time of year…its spring …I kinda find myself repeating this over and over again in an attempt to calm myself or hypnotize myself into believing it

Fugazi is one hard-ass band. They’ll play anywhere that’s all-ages. There were a couple of outdoor shows on the Instrument documentary.

I totally would have gone to that show, but I would have worn a coat!

To explain a bit further, it was not until I got there that I discovered the venue on campus had changed from indoors to outdoors.

Sounds like Fugazi may have been doing the big Bite Me to the weather…too cool. Waaayy too cold to go to work last nite, came up with a better plan

Summer is here in London – spent the weekend boozing outside a pub in beautiful Little Venice by the canal. Didn’t need my coat.
