        Hey saturn9,

        I caught Built to Spill on Reverb November 1999. I am wondering if the shows you speak of are the same ones I saw? No matter really, I want to check out the shows again. I would love to see them live. When I saw them on reverb (1999) I had never heard them before. I was in awe, they sounded great. I liked the song Broken Chairs and The Plan. A few weeks later I bought the CD Keep it a Secret and recently bought a Live CD with a kick ass 20 min Cortez the Killer (Neil Young cover). The band has grown on me ever since. I wish I could catch them live some where. Any way, Thanks for the 411 on the show times. I will check it out…

          If I remember correctly, there’s a Reverb showing on August 8 with Guided By Voices. Its on plain vanilla HBO. [img]images/smiles/converted/biggrin.gif[/img]

          DISCLAIMER: I could be wrong though… I just saw Bob Pollard flash on screen during the commercial.. [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img]

            What exactly is Reverb? From what I can make out it’s a program on the tele. Is it only available for the ones who have cable?

              Yeah, it is an HBO show

              they used to have some old clips up there.

              couple bands they have had on in the past –
              Dinosaur Jr
              Wilco
              Sebadoh
              Flaming Lips

                GBV.COM says that Guided By Voices are going to be on Reverb on August 29th. Which is the same thing that the HBO webpage says.
