Review and Photos of Houston, TX show!

Hey everyone, covered the show last night and got some pictures and wrote a review. Dinosaur was awesome…sucked they only played 45 minutes. If the 2 guys in The Black Keys didn’t want 45 minutes between sets to play, it’d have given Dinosaur a lot more time to play.

I went with my friend last night, great show, dinosaur jr. should have played longer!

Yeah, I was left with a desire to see much more. I had to just bump over to our practice space a few blocks over and made some noise to keep the vibe going. The Black Keys are good, but with Dinosaur Jr as an opener, they sounded boring and it showed how little dynamic they have in their sound. Everything sounds very compressed…and live that’s a bummer for me.

I had a great time on this show
my friend got a pick from J (i see that was mentioned in the review )
it was face meltingly loud but still pleasant
It was great to see the original lineup, i never got a chance before the breakup
Hadn’t seen them since 93(?) but it was just as good or better than i remember
I thought the Black Keys were awful and left quickly after they came on
