Just got some promos of Where you been & Green Mind…..Not sure how much difference the Remastering has made – Im listing to them on the £20 Tesco Stereo on my work desk
– But Hide (John Peel session) on Where you been sounds Amazing!!!!!

Knowing these two songs are on there is enough to convince me I need to buy it. I wasn’t sure before since I have all of the b-sides that were listed in the article.

Great news!Rhino will do a good job I`m sure My copy of Green Mind sounds really treblely, hopefully they`ll fix that.I don’t think the green mind album is gonna be remastered. But if there will be any remastering, I think Puke and Cry and Blowing It could use a bit higher acoustic guitar sound. That’s all I would complain about. The album is still great.
Why don’t you think it’ll be remastered? Technically, of course, it would have to be a for a new cd issue, and given how relatively crappy the original cd sounds (and given Rhino’s history of issuing remasters — and doing good jobs of it) they’d be crazy not to.
Looks like they were remastered, can’t wait!!!

Check the list to see if you have a CIMS music store near you. http://www.cimsmusic.com/”>http://www.cimsmusic.com/
If so, start making calls as it gets near. I will have to depend on a friend to pick one up for me as they closest one is about 2 hours away (if they have it at all).April 11, 2006 at 11:05 am #115018It stinks cause I know I will buy them but I have the Hide already I think and the What Else is New is probably the same one as the one from the I DOn’t think So single.

I have the same concern about What Else Is New though. Still, the liner notes should be cool.

Hide was from the peel sessions. There was a 2×7" bootleg of it. I have the same feeling about the What Else is New too. I think that it is also the same one that was on the Keeblin’ ‘live’ disc that came with the Australian tour edition of without a sound.
