Ringing on Almost Ready

Is it just me or does anyone else hear the phone ringing at the end of Almost Ready? I noticed it when I downloaded it months ago and thought they’ll edit that out, no way it’ll end up on the real release. Lo and behold there it is. :-

yea, i heard it too, but i also hear a weird ringing in back to your heart pretty often too, i think fat possum might be a little cheesy with their editing and such

Yeah, you can hear a cell ringing in it. Right at the end. I thought someone’s phone went off when I first heard it, but it was on the album. Perhaps it rang during a totally awesome take and they wanted to keep it? Perhaps just for a personal laugh.

Any time I’m listening to the CD in my car, I think it’s my cell phone ringing and I stop the CD. I fall for it every time!

Yeah I don’t think its a sound effect, I think someones phone went off at the end of a take. It gets me every time too.

lol, oh well, on purpose or not it adds coolness to all the distortion n stuff at the end. its cool

It might have been a ring modulator but probably just a cell phone.
