there was a thread concerning this a couple of years ago, what we landed on then was a program called ASF Recorder.

yeah, but the ASF recorder will only grab windows media .asf files via http.

i dont know what to use. there’s a thread on this forum somewhere to capture the audio part of real videos… somewhere.

could always contact the web site owner to see if he/she will let you download it for free/price of some kind if you really want it.

or hack the server and just take it.
and take all the files while you’re at it.

dunno if you’re still on the lookout for a recorder wireland, but lately I’ve been using these with good results(for both audio and video):

there’s a plugin for winamp3, which you can get at the winamp site.

              and there’s a program called cybercorder2000(free) that’s all good. http://www.streaming-audio.com-download.net/Mp3-Audio/Streaming-Audio/Cybercorder-2000-screenshots.htm”>http://www.streaming-audio.com-download … nshots.htm

I think the most commonly used program is record all, but that’s not freeware, but if you can get it for free somewhere I’d recommend that one.
