Hopefully its just a phase.
July 14, 2006 at 12:50 pm #119169Weezer has let me down too many times for me to shed a tear.
July 14, 2006 at 1:39 pm #119170I haven’t bought a Weezer cd this century
July 14, 2006 at 3:24 pm #119171That Blue CD with ‘My Name is Jonas’ and ‘Say It Ain’t So’ is really the only one worth while.
Pinkerton is pretty good, that goddamn half japanese girl!July 14, 2006 at 3:47 pm #119172Quote:That Blue CD with ‘My Name is [glow=red,2,300]Jonas[/glow]’ and ‘Say It Ain’t So’ is really the only one worth while. This is where Tonas comes from.

July 15, 2006 at 9:49 pm #119175I think "tired of sex" and "pink triangle" from pinkerton are my favorites.

We were good as married in my mind
But married in my mind’s no good
Pink triangle on her sleeve
Let me know the truth
haha that’s such a great song. Does anyone have their DVD? (excuse me, I used to be a huge weezer fan)

(excuse me, I used to be a huge weezer fan)yea, i love that dvd, great stuff. there were plans for a new one of live music from the make believe 2005 tour around asia but ive heard nothing about it since it was announced late last year. I love the Pink Triangle official video with their live footage from reading 96′. and the bootleg of them playing at reading 96′ is freaking good.

July 17, 2006 at 1:42 pm #119179It’s ok folks. Just go listen to some Hum and cheer yourselves up.
July 17, 2006 at 1:45 pm #119180After Make Believe, I’m not surprised. What a terrible album.
I do like Blue, Pinkerton and Maledroit and thought Green had its moments. I just hated the last one so much I’m sort of glad they’re throwing in the towel.
July 17, 2006 at 3:50 pm #119181I would blame the last one on Ric Ruben. Thats the only Weezer album he has produced. He’s currently working on the new Metallica record. Hopefully he can get them to play fast again, and reverse some of the damage Bob Rock has done. Just my opinion though.
July 17, 2006 at 4:12 pm #119182i’m pretty sure rick ruben was recording what weezer were doing when they recorded pinkerton? and he sung on "don’t let go" i think lol
