Tom and I got to Slim’s at about 8:15 and walked in when Unida was playing. They were ok. I’d have to say I prefer Kyuss better…the singer of which is the singer of Unida.
Caustic Resin took the stage next and played a mix of classic rock and stoner drone.
My friend Tom and I then crossed the street to go to the liquor store. J was there getting some Coffee and some Milano cookies. We got a chance to talk to him which was really kool.
J, Mike and George took the stage and were ready to rock. Once again, Mike’s bike was onstage with them. They then proceeded to rock. The setlist is as follows:

FreaksceneI was kinda bummed because 3 songs from the set list were ommited…Alone, The Wagon and Severed Lips. I was really in the mood to hear alone since Tom and I were jamming to it with our guitars a few days ago.
Overall it was a really good show once again. Mike was going nuts at points and was sweating like a mad man. It was a rocking show and the crowd was a tiny bit more into it than last night.
Well, it’s late and I have work in the morning. This was my third and final time seeing J and the boys this week. Now I’m kinda sad. Luckily I’m seeing The Flaming Lips on Thursday, so that should cheer me back up. [img]http://www.freakscene.net/ubb/smilies/face-icon-small-smile.gif[/img]
You’re a lucky guy to be seeing J and the Lips only a few days apart.
I saw the Lips four times on their last tour – I’d be interested to hear if they’re playing any new stuff now.

ps I actually screamed out loud when I read 3shows plus the lips. I am also interested in finding out if the lips do anything new. Apparently they are working on a christmas album….you lucky ammaring
