I kinda feel the same way but after seeing J + the Fod a couple of years ago, I’ll be bringing them with me to these shows. Sometimes I just have them in for some songs and then take them out for the songs I love the most. That will be harder to do with Dino though.
I think I’ll take a well-rehearsed road-dogged original Dinosaur over an impromptu Lollapalooza Fog jam, for sure- There’ll be plenty of Fog in the future-nobody but those original three dudes are gonna pull it off the way we’d all REALLY want it pulled off-whether they give a shit what the fans think or not (we all know they’re in it for the money), you’re probably not gonna hear "Bulbs of Passion" or whatever -as it was truly intended again, after this summer-Dave Schools himself will probably be standing there drooling over Lou’s bass shit just like the rest of us-too busy watching in awe to jam.
Dave Schools has to be one of the hardest working bass artista in rock and roll… this brother plays with more bands then stuart copeland. hats off to him.
