So I’m looking at the local clubs calendar of upcoming shows and what to my wondering eyes should appear?

The Melvins Sunday September 10th at Hells Kitchen. $15.00

I was full on stoked! This is a bar that holds maybe 250/350 people. When I played in a band we played here all the time, it was our home turf. We always kicked ass on that stage. I don’t know how the owners do it but they always seem to get rad bands playing this little punck rock club. They got Mudhoney about a year ago, and its the same club I took my son to see Marky Ramone at.

Anyway this show is gonna be killer, I can’t wait.

They just added a gig in London straight after the ATP festival which I really want to go to but I would have to make the 7 hour drive back from the ATP then get a train to london which would take 3 hours, then I would have to walk around london all night after the gig until i could catch a train in the morning and that day is my 18th! I would definetly have a crazy few days but I would love to see the melvins twice in the space of a couple of days (sorry for long winded post)

So yeh what were they like? I can’t wait to see them, did they play many new songs?

Oh man I completely forgot about this thread, just like I completely forgot to go to the show. I spaced and missed it, by the time I realized it, it was too late. Oh well, I’ll have to catch em next time.
