Hi everyone, hope this is right forum, just wondering what peoples opinions are on Sonic Youth? what in your opinion is there best album. Lately ive been listening to Washing Machine, just got me thinking about there best album so just wondering what you all thought if you like Sonic Youth <img>

My favorite album is Daydream Nation, by far.. Is it their best album? Who is to say?

SY is one of my fav bands for sure,I still have`nt got Murray Street yet but heard a couple of songs from it,sounded ok to me.
My fav albums are Evol and Daydream Nation.I saw them in NYC and for most of the set (their new stuff) it was amazing. Not a fan of Kim Gordon’s voice though. But still, I’d have to say they are certainly one of my favorite bands and Murray St. is a great record and at least this time around their live show is on the whole very excellent but I’ve heard they’ve been inconsistent in the past.
Daydream Nation is good, but I never seem to get the whole way through it dunno why. I really like Goo too I know its a bit commercial but its got Mildred pierce on it which has to have some of the scariest screaming on any record, except for any celine dion record!

"Murray Street" certainly deserves a place in my top three, "Daydream Nation" still being my favourite…
