I was just e-mailed this……..I’m passing it along. This gossip says Sarah Palin is not the mother of her 5th child (the child born with downs) but the Mother of the child is actually Palin’s 16 year old daughter, the child she (Palin) is being hailed as a hero for having by the Republican Right Wing Nuts.
Here is a link to the information: http://www.dailykos.com/storyonly/2008/ … 486/580223
good stuff, turns out her sixteen year old daughter took a six month leave from her Catholic School at the same time of her "mothers" pregnancy. Hmmm, that’s odd, the family told the school she had Mononucleosis. I guess it was a terrible bout of mono.
if you read the link it says….this is what Sara looked like at 71/2 months pregnant when she was "supposedly" pregnant with the most recent baby:
this is a photograph of what Sarah looked like when she was 7 months pregnant with another child. Big difference eh?

Very interesting story. Being that I actually believe Republicans are a true disappointment to God, (lol), I just had to pass on this story. It sure seems something is up….read all about it.
I would never like to see the word God and Hate in the same sentence, I wish I could find a bumper sticker that says "is dissapointed" but I can’t.
A sure way to have your windshield broken in "red" state like Georgia. I wish I would see some of these stickers in my real life while waiting for a red light to turn green.

September 2, 2008 at 7:50 pm #133439Maybe the daughter is actually 14 and not 17? Would it make a difference to the Publicans? Probably not. They just want to have pubes and procreation on their side.
Oh yeah, I also hate people who have kids as a fashion statement. Yuck.
September 4, 2008 at 11:10 am #133440Oh thats juicy Stefka I hadn’t heard that. I knew about the one daughters pregnancy but didn’t know about the mother of their new son. Interesting.
I really didn’t like the attacks last night in their speeches. I would have liked to hear more on how they plan to fix the economy, end the war, what their platform says about healthcare and such. But all I got were insults on Barack. It just seemed so high school.
September 4, 2008 at 7:50 pm #133441fucking democrats are welfare loathing treehuggers
September 6, 2008 at 11:50 am #133442yeah, Weezerfreak, I’ve seen a lot of Republicans who speak like you lately, and I just have to say…..even though they are supposed to be the party of "Christians"….most of them need to go and find a way to get their Jesus on a little better. I mean universal Health care right there, My sister a big Republican and her family big doners to the Republican party love to say….if someone is stupid enough or just poor enough not to have insurance and one of their children has cancer or breaks a leg….they should be forced to watch the child suffer at home without medical care so they learn from their mistake. I love the flow of Christian ideas from her…..also whenever we are at her house on Sunday mornings it’s pure hell watching her and her husband yell at their children to "hurry up" and get ready for church. Everyone is in tears by the time they go down the driveway with my brother-in-law saying "fuck" and "shit" under his breath. We have to fix the Health Care problem Now…..we have over $1,000 dollars a month that we give up for Health care. Everytime we go to the doctor….$20 bucks, every lab test $20 bucks, every bit of medicine $20, my oldest daughter is hypothyroid and must take medicine every day. She takes Levothyroid, which is a pretty cheap med….she must get a refill every month and every month we pay $20 bucks for it…..but if we just buy the meds outright without running it through insurance it costs us $14 bucks. Insurance is a rip off ……..when I got pregnant with my second baby I called the insurance company and they told me "your not covered for maturity" ….when my son got hit in the face by a swing in kindergarten and it busted up his mouth real good and he needed to have surgery on his mouth , I was told, sorry, this is considered dental and you will have to pay out of pocket. A few months ago, my daughters doctor asked that she take a mid-year blood test because she is now becoming a young women and they wanted to make sure her levels of thyroid were correct……we did the test and then got a bill for $55 bucks for the test….a simple blood test, thyroid screen at the health department cost $25 bucks….I called the insurance company and asked why they billed me and they told me they have a limit of three blood test per year after that they charge. So I give them over $1,000 dollars per month for many years, neither my husband or I or my other three children have had to use insurance very often and what ….they wont pay for a $55 dollar blood test. We have two many folks using the ER that don’t have insurance. Here in Athens, 70 % of folks in the ER are undocumented Mexicans….coming into the ER because the baby has a fever or husband cut his hand at work. Something has to change…..geez, I wrote to much, I came here to post this……my favorite bit of youtube…..What the Republican pundits really feel about Palin choice…….mike left hot after the show ended……I love it…..http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3BWsKvZZ98 http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=R3BWsKvZ … re=related
September 7, 2008 at 9:36 pm #133443Sarah Palin… Sarah Palin… Sarah Palin… Don’t shoot! I’m not a wolf!
September 8, 2008 at 8:43 am #133444I think folks don’t really understand the "thou shall not kill" command very well, it doesn’t say…"thou shall not kill people" or "thou shall not kill each other" Putting a spin on a command, I guess, spin it the way you want it to go.
Well, since we know Sarah likes to kill moose and eat mooseburger, My daughter found this on youtube because our….littlest baby asked us "What’s a moose"
I have had a Mama Deer and her fawn eat dog food from the dog bowl on the porch several times. So Cute!!!!
Happy Video……Here: Moose and her baby eat Halloween pumpkins from porch: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=UQGufS7-XCI UQGufS7-XCI
NEXT
Moose checks self into Hospital on security cam, my three year olds favorite moose video…he laughs and laughs…..says "Moose got sick from eating rotten pumpkin with melty (his word) candle inside." http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po1ujWKFuls http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=po1ujWKF … re=related
Oh, after all of the Sarah Palin stuff (in the morning on the way to school we always have big discussions, almost everyday now it’s politics) Anyway, the kids (plus the extra one that stays with us) they want to go to Alaska for Vacation next year. They want to drive, and to save money stay with friends and family….Starting in San Francisco…(they have an uncle), moving up to Oregon (they have a step-brother) then to Seattle (we have friends) on to Vancouver (friends ) then make our way to Alaska where our Uncle Jorge lives (Dad’s big brother) They really just want to see snow….I don’t know if they have snow in the summer…not at ground level. I told them "trust me, you don’t want to go to Alaska in the winter, because you need more than a sweater, blue jean jacket and a scarf."
September 8, 2008 at 5:53 pm #133445Stefka,
I like the idea of universal healthcare I really do, but paying for it is going to be tough. It works fine in Canada, but they are taxed insanely to fund it. The same would have to be done here and I don’t think that would sit to well. So I understand the republicans wanting to keep it private so that the costs stay low(er). Don’t get me wrong I was a local delegate for Obama this year, I just wonder how we’ll pay for his health care plan.

By having a two tier system, which is growing in Canada. Totally privatized healthcare in one of the richest countries in the world is abhorrent, cruel and hypocritical. The day they try to totally privatize health care in Canada, I will be resting in a tent city by Parliement.
As for Sarah Palin, John McCain’s running mate, according to The Defenders of Wildlife Fund’s Rodger Schlickeisen, "her most recent effort has been to sue the U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service to remove the polar bear from the endangered species list, putting Big Oil before sound science." (Italics mine).
Wow. Just what Nature ordered…

Anyway on Nov 4 (I believe) I’m voting for Obama. Sarah Palin is another one of those right wing nuts who think God speaks to her… she said she believes that the war in Iraq is…’God’s will’??? Insane, maybe?? That and she thinks that if a woman is raped & impregnated, she should be forced to keep and raise the child… And look at that McCain. He’s bound to croak soon… and we will have some moron from Alaska, a bible thumper nonetheless, with no experience in foreign policy leading our nation.
Not only that but the energy crisis, outsourcing of labor, all of that… with the horrible state our nation is in, how can anyone NOT vote for Obama? I don’t want four more years of this shit.Oh yeah! And if they are elected, expect them to attempt to ban all birth control.
September 13, 2008 at 11:30 pm #133448Wow, Tonas, good to see you again…and erin the great….I’ve never seen this side of you….I love it!
Tonas, I want to have a discussion with you about possibilities of financing
health care. My problem is right now I’m so busy that I don’t even have much time to write. Tomorrow, Sunday, is my oldest is turning 14, so we are having a big get together, which means I wont be able to write tomorrow. I am going to try and come early next week and write. I’ve been trying to study up…I think countries like Germany have the right idea but that’s just in theory, I don’t know anyone personally who lives there at the moment..but I’ve read they have a combination of universal and private (for those who wish to pay extra) …I don’t think our taxes are that high but then again perhaps it’s because we are not generating tons of money in this family. Don’t get me wrong, I don’t like to be taxed but I have friends who are taxed more. I think health care should be a "human right"….perhaps I’m a crazy tree hugging kind of person. My health care needs are (thank God) not very big at the moment. Although I went to the hospital two years ago with a miscarriage and ended up staying for two days, Yikes! So it does happen. I just wish we could figure a way to give everyone a yearly physical (us women really need them), two trips to the dentist (six month check up and cleaning) and a trip to the eye doctor once a year for those of us who need it. Some sort of incentives for folks who stay healthy. I don’t know. Other countries have figured out a way to make it work. The biggest problem is greed and a closed heart chakra. I find it every year when I try and place foreign students into host families.
I have tons of friends and family who live in huge houses who have more than 1 extra room, they have a guest room and an office and a full basement entertainment room and those are the families that I can NEVER get to host a child. I am constantly placing children in homes where they share a room with another child or sleep on a couch in the basement…I mean……….Geez…….One of my brother-in-laws has (no joke) a five bedroom house, with an office………..and only 1 child is still living at home.
Every year he tells me………."we can’t help"….I understand, it’s not everyone’s cup of tea, but gosh just open your heart to another person, as you would want someone to do for your child, just once… Most folks are just to self centered and greedy. Gosh, I just went off…way off. Anyway, I have some ideas about financing health care. I’ll be back.Erin…..I have so much I want to say to you….add to your discussion….I’ll be back next week….I hope I can find y’all. Peace, S.
September 14, 2008 at 3:50 pm #133449That’s really sad…about the transfer students. I’ve noticed a trend throughout my life, having lived in different social and economic situations. I grew up in East Baltimore in a decidedly lower-class area, and now I live in a middle class suburban neighborhood. I can tell you firsthand that the wealthier people are, they less they give and the greedier they are. That and I hate all the people I live near… they’re so caught up in their own little world and no one else fucking matters to them. Their priorities are so outta whack. Not to mention they are never informed politically and I can assure you most of them are voting for McCain because he is white (that and he is pro-life, which is all that matters to anyone anymore). I’m much more informed than most of these adults and I’m 18 years old.
On the topic of healthcare, I also am a firm believer that everyone in this country has the right to good healthcare, whether they have insurance or not… whether they are wealthy or not. Not too many jobs offer insurance anymore… and good insurance is almost impossible to find any longer. My ex boyfriend couldn’t afford to go to the doctor, even though he had throbbing headaches every other night (worried me to death) and he couldn’t afford new glasses when his got broken. And the typical Republican will argue that this is because "he was lazy". Everyone who is poor is ‘lazy’. Heh, no, it’s just that employers can’t afford to give their employees insurance anymore because of the fucked up monopolies these corporations have. Not to mention that older folks can’t afford their pills anymore. This whole country is just so sad and it’s thanks to the Republican’s corporate-handjob agenda.
Annastefka, awesome. I look forward to reading what you have to say.
September 14, 2008 at 7:50 pm #133450Healthcare is going to be sticky anyway you cut it, just like social security. When my wife and I had our son 13 years ago I didn’t make much money and we relied on "coupons" for food, but I had a job that offered healthcare. Washington state ended up paying the hospital bills for the delivery because we were lower income. I hated needing to use the benefit, but it really helped us out.
I soon moved up into a better paying position and we didn’t need to rely on "the benefit" anymore. Now having gotten my degree I have a job that offers killer health care, almost as good as my fathers plan at Boeing.
I guess what I am trying to get at is the healthcare system should help people get on their feet until they are able to get good healthcare benefits. Otherwise the system will get people abusing it just like they do with welfare. Obviously I won’t need to use the government healthcare, but the people who do need it should be monitored somehow so abuse doesn’t occur. Otherwise it could get really expensive. I read once that government healthcare would bankrupt America. I amnot sure if that is true, but its a scary thought.
This is an interesting topic indeed……
September 15, 2008 at 1:14 pm #133451Yeah, when I told you in an earlier post about find out I had no maternity insurance….It was best at that time for me to stop working and move to peachcare (our low income government health care) the only way that worked is because Juan and I are not legally married. I filed for peachcare as single.
Oh, BTW….on a funny note…..after the Lehman brother thing this weekend, I think it’s a pretty done deal….Our country is bankrupt. Yeah, let folks keep their private insurance…but we have to overhaul that as well. The whole $45 dollar aspirin. It’s true most poor folks are getting to see a doctor when in crisis. Most poor folks will never have to pay that bill. My husband is standing behind me bitchin’ about something, I need to go and attend to his wishes……..bless his heart……..he’s having what I affectionately call one of his "episodes" . I’ll be back. -
