What’re the best things an artist has said to an audience from the stage?
My faves:

It feels weird to have to tell somebody this, until I realize I don’t know how to put out a fag in German, or even what a cigarette is in Germany.

[official word is "Zigarette", fag is Kippe, to put it out is Zigarette ausdrücken]

Using the fantastic Worldlingo translator I ended up with this piece of abstract German poetry:
