Sub Pop – Releases

I was thinking that ( maybe subconsciously) Sub Pop only put out (physical formats) cover versions of songs by J,
since the whole cover change incident on the wagon ! – I love the X-files : )

Maybe it’s a mild wrist slap from history? or just complete coincidence ! probably the latter…………

There’s a bit in the book and I’ve read it elsewhere, But if your not aware of J changing his mind last minute on the cover, This is a cool read……

Also, (more complete guessing on my part!) I reckon J didn’t want that cover because it looks a bit like Chucky (Childs Play would have just been about around that time, a little earlier )
