August 15, 2005 at 1:37 pm #110811The Omans and Alaska opened in Las Vegas. The Omens were an interesting band. Alaska sounded a little like Sonic Youth but not nearly as good. Alaska were a little boring. A member of the Omens got carted off by security at the end of Dinosaur Jr’s set for spitting on someone. It happened real fast and they had him out of there very fast. Lou introduced the whole band onstage and Murph stood up. Vegas was going nuts for more and the band appreciated it. Too bad it was a short set. Hopefully after August, they’ll tour some more and come to Phoenix, AZ.

Answer me this …Why does J’s roadies look like him and Lou’s roadies look like Lou…?
Thanks for coming to LA we want you back..
August 20, 2005 at 6:51 pm #110813That’s funny you should say that… I noticed that Spoon have got a roadie who looks like he could look like Spoon’s singer Britt Daniel, with orange hair. And The White Stripes have a guitar tech who looks and dresses like Jack White. Must be kind of a double thing to trick the fans.
