Does anyone know the ACTUAL lyrics to Tarpit off of You’re Living All Over Me? I’ve looked all around the internet and no one seems to be getting it right. There are several different versions of the lyrics floating around and they just don’t seem to exactly match up with what I think I’m hearing on the record. If anyone has the official lyrics to this song I’d appreciate it if you would post them for me here.

most of the guys have seem to have it right, but i always thought one part goes llike this:

I bet wish I could understand
It’s a twisted feeling, its there and bored

I didn’t know Built to Spill covered it. Is that on one of their albums?

I have the live acoustic version of Tarpit from a show at the Bowery Ballroom in NYC from sometime in 2002. Not sure if that’s the only place they played it.

Yeah, I have the BtS cover of Tarpit. I sounds nice. I love Doug Martsch.
