RJJuly 7, 2006 at 4:39 pm #118828by the way … why are we thanking amma for the broken mascis scene being ‘out of site’?
July 7, 2006 at 7:49 pm #118829The show was a benefit for Amma, hope they made a ton of cash…
Quote:You did some shows with Broken Social Scene last summer — how did that turn into them becoming your backing band?J-Somebody asked me to play a benefit show in Toronto for this lady Amma, and I thought that would be a good opportunity to play with those guys. They live there, right?
July 8, 2006 at 2:39 pm #118830oh! thanks …

July 14, 2006 at 2:42 pm #118832I wonder who is doing the second verse lyrics on Tarpit. It might be Bill Priddle.
How come no one has talked about the Olmpic island show the next day? I wonder what the set list was

Well, I would have gone–if I could have gotten on a guestlist or something, but I guess that just wasn’t in anybody’s interest. Instead, I went to see Peaches, Bauhaus, and NIN–which was just as fine (sort of…).
