For aat least a half=hour before Dino came on, we had to endure non-stop Camel cig videos, which were adverts. Abhorent! Disgusting! We were incredulous. Such low,low class.
Shame on you, Dino Jr. Fuckin sellouts for a killer product.September 5, 2007 at 9:15 am #131705Dare I say, it was clever overkill. I don’t understand why they had cigarette girls walking around when you can’t smoke in the club anymore (you can get drink$$, though….) The whole Camel Lollapalooza thing was kind of funny, kind of ironic and kind of getting on my nerves. I thought the shout-out screen was nuh
… I liked the acid screen idea, which looked like it was ripped off from club gigs that had the same thing going on (Irving Plaza; the Belmont Club in Montreal; Bread & Puppet Festival in Vermont) a couple of years back.
Oh well, I guess those college kids need to smoke.Dr. Dog was killer. They’ve got it goin’ on with the vocals. Two thumbs up!
Oh yeah, Dave Sweetapple from Witch was there.I know I’ll get it for this crap setlist but I didn’t go there to rack my brain on which song was played, when, and at what time, and for how long and with which instruments and solos and fxs and /or why…
Tarpit
Rebel rise something… (Let It Ride, maybe?)
Little Fury Thing (bunnies, nuh
)
This Is All I Came to Do
Back To Your Heart
Feel The Pain (4 Anthony & foghat)
Out There
Pick Me Up (Little Fury was more smokin’)
Crumble
The Wagon
……Encore
Sludgefeast
In A Jar
Freakscene (I think they played it
)
Chunks
Jam timeI’m sure they played more but I’m starting to feel
Damn cold.September 5, 2007 at 5:18 pm #131706"fata morgana " wrote:Dare I say, it was clever overkill.
