It was completely sold out me and my friend went without tickets thinking we wouldn’t have to pay too much as there not huge or anything. We were wrong, we ended up paying three times the ticket price. Oh well, it was a great gig. They played mostly Soft Bulletin songs and two or three new ones.

Bob Moulds set was quite strange, I have a couple of Husker Du albums but i’m not familiar with his new stuff. It was just him on stage playing guitar with backing tapes. Seemed like he was playing the same song over and over.

        Hey Rooster,

Shame they only played 3 new songs, fingers crossed they play more of them once the disc is released. I read they do a Kylie cover though

Sounds like Bob Mould did lots of stuff off modulate… mould . I’m not a huge fan of that release, some good songs but Good news is he is back in the studio soon with a real drummer

Yeah, the Kylie cover was quite unexpected to say the least. I actually think they played more like four or five songs off the new record including the new single. I’ve never seen them live before but it seemed like it was a good show for them. This guy in the audience got Wayne to ask this girl to marry him and she said yes so a good time was had by all.
