I live fairly close (ok, in the same state as) to the largest indigeonus population of Polish people in the United States, as a result, some guy trying to get into public office started the holiday Kashmir Polaski day. (Kashmir Polaski, for those of you who don’t know, was a Polish man who. . . um. . .hmmm. . .well he had something to do with the Revolutionary war, and Led Zeppelin wrote a song about him)
I’m telling this to ya’ll because local schools get off for Kashmir Polaski’s (it probably should be spelt Polckqweijtlksti, sorry, touch racist there) day, so I got an email from the girl I referenced to in the Malcom Report asking if I would like to join her for lunch at the Orient. Well Geez, there’s nothing I would like better, EXCEPT I had to go to SCHOOL because COLLEGES DON’T GET OFF FOR STUPID HOLIDAYS ANYMORE. pardon, I get a bit intense when I get screwed (or perhaps its fail to. . .)
God life sucks sometimes. Also, I’m an easy half hours drive from my school (twenty minutes when you go Malcom Speed. ) And my dads about the same distance same direction to his job. So as I’m heading towards school, who should I run into but my dearest pa, who’s car had broken down in the snow. So I pick him up and take him home (I was only a five minutes from home at this point), drive to school, park my car, and discover I had somehow forgotten my backpack this morning. I had to drive home, grab my shit, drive back to school (missing my bio lecture) and then drive all the way back to school to take a math quiz given by a lady who’s so Florida Ready and senile she practically has to carry a card with her name on it on a lanyard on her neck in case she has to rember her name in a hurry. I find it difficult to learn math from somebody who frequently forgets to carry numbers down. grrrrrrrrrrrrr!!!!!!!
Why can I never get good math teachers.March 5, 2002 at 9:19 am #68248Good maths teachers? Paradoxical, my good man. How many of your friends are studying/planning to study maths to its highest level, so that they could be qualified to teach? Exactly.
Apologies to any maths teachers.

March 5, 2002 at 1:21 pm #68250Hey Malcom, unless that math quiz was during lunch, you have no excuses for not meeting the girl. College classes are meant to be skipped! I know you’re still kinda new at this college thing, but I thought you would’ve realized this by now.
It seems however, that fate gave you a several ways out by making your dad’s car break down AND making you forget your backpack… HELLO! You had, not one, but TWO good reasons to blow off school and make the date…
They should assign every freshman to a senior, in order for them to learn the important stuff…
