I will keep from commenting too much until the album is released. I will comment more when I buy the album.
February 8, 2007 at 8:13 am #125632Yeah, I’m just gonna wait and buy it……….the sound quality is much better. There is a temptation but I’ll wait.
February 8, 2007 at 8:20 am #125633I’m all for sharing music but this is wrong…………If it were my music I would be pissed………..people are idiots…………….If someone releases something and then everybody starts sharing it, well that’s just humanity at it’s finest, but if someone is sharing something with others before it’s really given to them, now that’s theft……….and thats how I feel.
February 8, 2007 at 9:03 am #125634Are these crap-quality, compressed-to-hell mp3s? The new jesu leaked at the end of Dec and the production sounded pretty poor (flat and monochromatic), but now that I’ve got the real cd it sounds excellent (full, deep, layered, and loaded with detail — typical Broadrick production). Whatever the case, I’m waiting until May.
February 8, 2007 at 10:43 am #125635I think it’s killer. Yeah, a lot of the songs sound like stuff J was working on for the Fog, but honestly, all of J’s music falls into the same vibes. I think this is a killer album. The mp3s are 320 kbps, which is above CD quality. Great sound. The production is killer, it sounds like a rock band recording, not some horrible pro-tooled piece of garbage. I’ve listened to it a lot. Probably on my 5th listen right now. Great record.
Also, my view on downloading: I will buy this album, but I’m not guaranteed anything beyond this moment as far as my life is concerned and I’m not waiting any longer than I must to experience the happiness that is this album. So there…
February 8, 2007 at 11:03 am #125636I’m wondering who leaked it. Because I asked management for a press copy and they said NO ONE was getting one. I will definately buy the album, just to have the cover art if anything.

I like that line of thinking.

Carpe Diem!
Yeah… I might die tomorrow. So, I need to steal this album, in case I die before it’s released. hehe. I think that’s the best reasoning ever. It’s actually so true. hehe
February 8, 2007 at 12:05 pm #125639Speaking of, have they released images of the cover art? Just wondering if it is a painting-dealy or a photo-dealy. I guess besides Green Mind and More Light they’ve all been paintings. Just hope it is kickass and will look good hung up.

February 8, 2007 at 1:20 pm #125642I was actually thinking a wolf might be appropriate with those shirts J wears.
February 8, 2007 at 2:27 pm #125643I’ve listened half of it and it seems like an album full of "nice little songs". They’re good, but they don’t have that much power and J’s solos aren’t as distinctive as usually. All in all, this seems like good stuff but not "mind blowing".
Not disappointed.
And I will buy the album
February 8, 2007 at 2:45 pm #125644How do so many people have access to Oink? I’ve never even heard of it before!

I’ve done this with a lot of albums. 90% of the albums I own are albums I downloaded before I bought them. It doesn’t hinder me one way or the other. It just makes me more of a music snob since I only buy albums I deem worthy.
