i was just randomly looking at thumb.net that japenese dinosaur site and saw this page—its all weird with question marks and some of it is in English but if you scroll down theres pedal setup things for more light and without a soundMay 2, 2007 at 11:02 pm #127599nice find, though the question marks maybe caused by uninstalled jappo fonts, it is showing up in reg jap for me

What I dont get, is the sound at the end of the lung. Is it phaser + trem or flanger + trem?

well i figured out on the record its just the clone theory(muff and his electric mistress near the end possibly set to the filter matrix* to give it more of a metalicly sound) with the switch on top to chor/vib at the knob to vib counter clockwise full blast and the rate and depth at 2 o clock as far as they will go clock wise it gives it that great robotic sound
later i think j uses the choppy setting on his super tremolo live
well…. i noticed he even uses his tremolo on the wagon live too
it didnt sound as nice i thought
but thats just meAugust 24, 2007 at 8:33 am #127603Hmmm, i did some research and the Phase 100 has one mode which sounds pretty similar to that sound… whetever

September 14, 2007 at 7:48 am #127605Hi.Great thread!.
Can anyone give some more info on the amps?.Previous and current setups.Channels etc.Maybe an up-to-date picture of his rack?
Anyway..The pictured "First" Jazzmaster does´nt have a T.o.m. bridge. It looks more like a standard/Mustang one to me?.I´ve seen other pictures that confirm this.Just curious.
I read an article on J and his gear in some guitar-mag.I Believe it was from 93´.He said he used two Quickchange Artist (DW lab) footcontrollers for his effects. If you look at the forementioned Umass. Amherst 93´video you can see two footcontrollers set up with a wah in between?.

May 20, 2009 at 4:36 pm #127608J’s rig schematic has just wiped every PowerPoint presentation regarding the "difficult times we now face" from my Memory, Man! Thank you.
August 29, 2009 at 8:15 am #127609Hey all,
I am glad I found this forum. I have been a Dino Jr. fan since the early 90s.
I was wondering if any of you could help me out. I sent a pedal that I make to J a while back and was wondering if he used it yet. If anyone sees a white pedal called the Screaming Panda on his pedal board please let me know.April 3, 2012 at 7:01 pm #127610Thought I’d share some of my Dino pics on here.
Flyer from my first Dinosaur Jr gig in 88

and a pic from that gig

and a live shot from that era
April 4, 2012 at 1:53 pm #127611Cool pics post. Did J dye his hair black back then?
J/K
April 4, 2012 at 2:41 pm #127612Naaa. It’s just the lighting. J’s always let his hair be the natural way.
Cool pics man. I actually first saw you post them on a different forum awhile back. The last pic has been my display background for months now.
