I just wanted to know where everyone gets there favorite burgers, Ive heard Very Good things about the in and out burger, though I’ve never been there thanks to them only being on the west coast so i must say the best burger in Jersey comes from a diner on route 36 in Keyport named the YellowRose

Boca Burgers are great if you cook them in a skillet. Not to be confused with Gardenburgers, which taste like mud patties.

When I ate meat I always chose Burger King for burgers *shrug* I actually don’t really miss them; what I do miss are big old slabs of steak. But I think about the reasons why I stopped eating meat and the cravings go away.

White Castle rocks the mothership!!!! I am right in the antimatter zone for them right now, with metro hubs 100 mi. east and west having them and poor tom going without. In case you guys do not know, WC’s serve 3 inch by 3 inch square burgers for @ 40 cents apiece. Key is buying them by the dozen or so. Onion Rings are good, fries ok. Nickname for these burgers is "sliders". I will only say they eat smooth and etc.

P.S. Hey Bucked Up, I am right now beginning "The Dead" by James Joyce. We had Araby scheduled for lit class, but it was lifted last min. Both are in the compilation called "Dubliners" for those who are interested.

                    Halves,

I had this professor in high school who pronounced it ‘Dublinders’, which always really irritated me.

Also, there is actually a chain (sort of) called Sliders here in SF that you would probably like.

Best fries are still Arby’s curly fries. They’re even vegan, oh happy day.

I have to concur on what you heard about In and Out.* You can probably find better hamburgers at some one-location-only restaurants, but for fast food for sure and in general you can’t beat In and Out. However, their fries suck. Taste like cardboard.

                      * It is owned by Mormons and on the bottom of their cups and on hamburger wrappers they put references to the Mormon bible, shit like John 3:15 or whatever. You know its the Mormon one cause sometimes its some section that’s not in the normal bible. If you ask employees about it, they claim ignorance. If the likes of McDonalds did shit like this, I would never eat there out of protest. That should show how good In and Out is.

White Castle burgers scare me We don’t have those in Canada, friend of mine always has us bring back some for him. Scary

Best burgers in my part of the world are at a place called Mrs. Mikes. Small stand alone place, outdoor seating, great location across from a bar Only open four or five months a year, run by a greek family for years. Great Chili fries, wicked shakes, line ups all thru the day/nite…very popular place!!!

Worst burger I ever had was from a place in St Paul Minnesota called porky’s…I should have known better but it was 4 am and no other drive thru was open

Boca’s are good, White Castle burgers are poo. Personally I very rarely eat a burger when I go out, I prefer Chinese food (which seems to be good no matter where you get it. Best Bugers I remember having was at Skoogies down in SC (Killer cheesey fries too, you had to eat them with a spoon!)

Around here I usually stick with Steak in Shake.

                            Did someone say cheese fries?

                            *drool*

Glad those ‘bugers’ were good, Malc, haha.

Well I strongly recommend you don’t pick up this book, The Killers Within Talks about the use of antibiotics in livestock, how its ending up in our food supply & helping to train drug resistant superbugs… Just a warning

i’ve heard that’s a pretty good read allison, i’ll have to check it out. the dairy industry is notoriously (in)famous for its use of antibiotics and other funky shit (i.e rBGH) . even though organic milk costs about 2X as much as regular milk, i buy it as often as i can…
