Sounds like a tough day

Some pretty cool suggestions so far, you could always check the playlists some people put up further down the board.

My suggestions…

Hellacopters ( what a surprise , they have tons of stuff to chose from)
Flaming Sideburns
Peepshows
Sewergrooves
Radio Birdman
New Christs
Motorpsycho
Super Suckers

Hope it keeps you busy for the next couple weeks, don’t forget J is online today from Amsterdam

i’m losing my license for a year as well, ds. and btw i’m 33. i certainly deserve what i got, still sucks regardless. black flag was the first punk rock show i ever saw, i think in ’86 or ’87. in the words of the imortal d. boon…….’punk rock chamged our lives"

i was just drunk and high and asking to be pulled over. didn’t hit anything (luckily). i’d love to say there won’t be a next time, but i don’t like to make statements like that that i’m not sure i can back up. i’m really bummed i’m gonna miss the rhett miller show here in da burgh, but being at home beats being in the big house by a long shot.

Man, Pittsburgh’s public transportation sucks too, unless you live in the South Hills. You must have missed the Karl Hendricks show at the 31st Pub on Thursday too . Heard it rocked.

Am reading an assigned essay by Montaigne called "on Solitude". An excerpt:

Stilpo had escaped from the great conflagration of his city in which he lost wife, children and goods; when Demetrius Poliocetes saw him in the midst of so great a destruction of his homeland, yet with his face undismayed, he asked him (Stilpo) if he had suffered no harm. Stilpo said, "No, thank God, I lost nothing of mine."
