trouble viewing Promo Videos

I’m trying to watch the videos under Multimedia, but I get a message: "Please wait while Realplayer contacts RealNetworks for software" – then another message pops up saying: "Real Player cannot contact the RealNetworks Auto Update server. Please try again later". I’ve had success with other videos in the past and I’m stumped as to why none of these are working for me . . . can anyone help me?

This is a Real Player problem… It’s trying to update you to the latest version. I don’t know if you need to upgrade in order to play the videos on Freakscene. It depends on what version of Real you have.

Anyway, the Real servers were probably down or overloaded at the time. Try again later like it says and see if you get better results… [img]images/smiles/converted/wink.gif[/img] Its a pain in the ass, but that’s the nature of Real Player… [img]images/smiles/converted/rolleyes.gif[/img]

Yes… Real Player is a pain… Jeremiah should put up high quality (downloadable) ASX files like the Where’d You Go video on the Ultimatum site… yes, that would be lovely.
