Eric Gaffney, Sebadoh co-founder and one-time-Gobblehoof-and-even-Dinosaur-drummer (wayyyyy back in the early days when Murph wasn’t available) is playing a show at the Cafe Du Nord, San Francisco, next Wednesday Oct. 4th. This will be the last ever performance of his latest band, The Fields Of Gaffney. For those who don’t remember, Eric was/is one third of the original Sebadoh and a major figure in the history of the mid/late eighties Amherst/Northampton music scene around Dinosaur. Eric has a new album coming out, too, "Unchartered Waters" He deserves some succes…

haha i like how you threw in the one time dinosaur drummer thing to make it a bit more dinosaur evolutionable.

i wish i was out west to see eric. hes the shit.
