and a couple of loose jams between songs

Venue was packed. Lou didn’t talk at all (which was a bit of a surprise to me; he seemed a bit moody/tired (maybe ?), but was really into playing as he was moving a lot) so actually J got to talk more than Lou ;) which is rare…
They had to switch one of Lou’s amps after the 2nd song. I liked the bit when Lou & Murph went >behind< the amps to have a drink, leaving J standing alone on the stage with an "er, where-are-you-guys-going ?"-lost-look on his face… :D
Murph lost a drumstick at the end of "Little Fury Things" which visibly surprised him "where did that drumstick go ?" Overall the show was quite short (77 minutes), but the playing was really tight and agressive. They really stretch the solo in "Gargoyle" now. "The Wagon" was really sweet, and overall it seems that Lou’s going for a more powerful bass-sound than at last year’s shows. Not the greatest show I’ve seen, and I wish they would have done The Leper/Tarpit/Severed Lips/Don’t/Does It Float, but, hey, what the hell ? It was good, anyway. Off to Antwerp tonight…

BTW, they had the black J-Lou-Murph shirt for sale (M is, apparently, sold out), the white "Dinosaur – Mountain – Monster" (1st album artwork) shirt, the purple cow shirt and the "zombie worm" shirt – all for 20 ? which is very expensive :( , I think. 18,50 ? for a ticket was quite low, though, IMHO. Saw Murph walking around with a HUGE bag of clothes after the show (cleaned ?)… :)
