Ok, this is a post I put up on a Canadian forum. There was a thread going about the war crap going on right now and why it started. I know it wont be for all readers, as nothing ever is. No one agrees with everything, but don’t think I’m against any of you. This is my opinion on what is going on right now and why. Oh, and also it my view on Canada!

I’m still thinking about moving to Canada, from what I have seen you people seem to have it right. There aren’t (at least as many) scare tactics all over the place. We here in the US watch the news and it’s full of reasons to be afraid. War, gangs, drug deals gone bad…riots etc. etc. however from where I sit, I can look out my window and see animals running around and children playing…I don’t ever see any of this stuff. Made up to mold us to what they want? Sometimes it seems like it.
While I’m on topic here, I think that what the American people are doing is far worse than what happend on (good Lord I hate hearing this date) Sept. 11. Ok, lets do a brief re-cap shall we? Terrorists hi-jacked airplanes and two hit the World Trade Center buildings knocking them down, and another hit the Pentagon. There were more planned attacks, one of which was taken back over by the Americans I believe. However….why did this happen? The "terrorists" don’t like the fact that we are capitalists right? So, hit the one thing (other than Disney) that would show us that we are wrong. Seems like a good little plan, however there is only one flaw. They unfortunately forgot that we LOVE making money off of everything. Time and People magazine (and I have a copy of each) had a two page spread of the towers falling. Thats fine, whatever….but then they showed close ups of people falling to thier deaths. How would you like it if that were your father? Son? Wife? The US continues to make money off of something that was supposed to do the opposite. We were supposed to lose money, and learn that its not all about the all mighty dollar, however we reversed that and made a killing. Coins, magazines, even a movie now with Nic. Cage is coming out. I for one wil not be paying to watch that movie. I however agree with the things Micheal Moore had to say in Farenheit 9/11. He has a way of really opening things up for you. I used to have no interest in politics, however Moore has gotten me to start thinking about things now.

right…..what was that stupid band that…….3 doors down…I lost all respect for that band when they made that stupid video for that stupid song. I dont remember what it was but it made me mad.
