      couple more…

      Sham 69-Tell Us The Truth

Slaughter and The Dogs-Where Have All The Boot Boys Gone is a great song :!: Watt mentioned them in his tour diaries during his Fog days

The Slits-Typical Girls & Heard it Thru The Grapevine are a couple great songs from them. Very early female punk band

      Raincoats were cool

Definitely 2nd Gang of Four, my fav song by them is Damaged Goods

BR-The first 3 albums by The Jam are out around here;In The City has been out here for the past 2 months.I saw the other 2 the other day with a sticker that says REMASTERED so I figured they just came out;they`re selling for $19.99 which is problably the sale price($24.99 regular)I guess in the US $19.99 canadian would be $13.99 or less :? so check your record store out and tell them Canada has them!

The Raincoats are definitely charming :) their first album had production help from Mayo Thompson from 60`s Texas pysch band the Red Krayola;their third album Moving is great as well and very eclectic:there`s reggae, jazz, african, celtic, and even disco influences in it 8)

Gina Birch from the Raincoats had a band a few years ago called The Hangovers,I heard one song from it before;do a search on SS for it;they did an album called Slow Dirty Tears for Kill Rock Stars records.

            No :P

I think the songs Borstal Breakout, Family Life, Rip Off, Tell Us The Truth are classic early Punk songs.

you asked for suggestions right :?:
