What are your August Acquisitions?

Well, I started today by buying a new passenger side window for my truck. (Police Dept. called me at 7:45 AM to ask me to visit the officer who is at my truck.) Come to find out, the bastard(s) took my clicker which gets me in and out of the apartment complex. They also went into my center console and took all the quarters. The left the other change in the console. Also left in the truck were my golf clubs, and various CD’s.

They also took all of my son’s cd’s and his cd player…

SO.. I bought my son a CD player, and 4 Blink 182 CD’s.

and for me, I bought

Lord of the Rings – The Two Towers DVD

Primus – Suck on this (orig. stolen 12/2000)
Primus – Pork Soda (orig. stolen 12/2000)

That sucks Carl I did the apartment complex hell deal before(you know the kind that should have a sign on them saying ‘may contain nuts’ )there was alot of car break ins and strange people hanging around(including the tenants )

SG, the new Broadcast is a full album (on Warp Records, 14 tracks), got it myself today, it’s now playing for the first time, don’t know yet what to think of it (definitely sounds like it needs a couple more listenings )

I send my condolences, Carl. Although in any other situation I would question the parenting of somebody who buys their kids Blink 182 CD’s.

I’m liking the new Broadcast! I think it is more cohesive than The Noise Made By People, even if it doesn’t quite have as many standout type songs (e.g. "Come on Let’s Go").

What an awful way to start the day, didn’t you get robbed of a bunch of cd’s out of your car before…YIKES

My car was scratched all up the passenger side of the car friday, they didn’t even bother stealing anything just scratched it up…dirty bastards Better than last time thou, at halloween last year someone used a huge piece of cement to try and break into my trunk… Over a grand damage..thank god for insurance, only had to pay 200

Picked up The Essential Clash DVD…it doesn’t play properly though so its gotta go back

Thnak you all.. The good thing is that it is all replaceable. In fact, the window was replaced in under 4 hours. Of course, there went $200, but those windows are important.

Yeah.. 70 or so CD’s last time, and last time they were mine. I am almost done replacing the ones I want to replace.

Hey there MALC!!! Don’t make me come out of my shell, find you, and :slap: .. (j/k, of course…) Considering he also lost his Eminem, Nelly, and 2PAC CD’s, I feel pretty good he chose Blink first.
