since it’s concert time again here around (as every fall) and it’s so hard to conclude where to set the priorities, I assume this kind of state is similarly the same at your sites. I admit I’m quite snoopy what your gig going calender looks like in the next few weeks…

I’m going to attend one of the cure’s ‚trilogy concerts‘ on nov 12th. this will be the 1st time to see my early-youth-heroes, and I still let ’em have big respects of mine (not at last ’cause dinosaur jr is one of smith’s favourite bands <img> ). they’ll perform three of their gloomiest albums in their entirety (pornography, disintegration, bloodflowers <img> ) with 20 minutes intermissions at a time… so this will be quite special…

on Nov 20th I give Coldplay a chance to convince me of their live qualities… <img>

and… of course… on nov 2nd… J <img> <img> <img>

I’m going to see Queens of the Stone Age tonight. Should be pretty rockin’. Hope Mark Lanegan’s in good form. Last time I saw him he was surrounded by scanitly-clad groupies.

I’m actually going to see Los Straitjackets in 1 week. They’ll be playing the Magic Stick, where I saw J last weekend.
The Straitjackest just put out a Christmas cd a couple of weeks ago as well.
