a couple of years back i tink i told this story here but it needs retellng as its been fucked up.
a relationship i had with the one girl ive ever loved fell apart a few years ago. she was on holiday a few weeks later and was listeing to a tape id made for her and she heard green mind (the song not the whole album) and she said it made her want to give everything another chance that i reminded her of whoever j is singing about in the song. something about how she could only relate to me. anyway i credit jay with getting my love back for me and now three years later its over and this time i think for good. i guess it would make a far better story if we were still together but we had a great time together and we saw j many times together but never could shout green mind loud enough for him to play it. i did give him a spider man lollipop though and he was quite happy with that. sorry for rambling on but im just sittin listening to "wihtout a sound" and stewing about everthing .

Cool story! Sorry about the breakup…

If it’s any consolation, I don’t believe that J has ever played Green Mind live (something about how only he can play the drum part, if I remember correctly).

Green Mind was my favourite album for ….. eight months or so.

            What good times they were.
