      ……the one that J uses in his solo acoustic/electric shows that samples. He plays the chords and then the pedal plays the chords over and over and he is able to solo over the sampled chords? sorry, i did a search, but found nothing….

        I don’t know the one Jay uses, but there is definitely a pedal that will do this. Very Cool!

          That would be a Z Vex Lo-Fi Loop Junkie. They cost a bundle, but they’re totally worth the money.

              how long can you record something? i use my dd-6 for this, only about 9 seconds = (

                The lo fi loop junkie can record up to 20 seconds.

                If you want more record time then check out some of the Boss loopers, the RC 20 XL or the smaller RC 2 – they can record up to 16 minutes and you can overdub on them too
