Man that would be great, that song is hilarious. Always gets a laugh from me. Dino doing "Creep In The Cellar" would be amazing as well I think. Picture J singing it next time you listen to it.
September 16, 2006 at 3:43 pm #121139I’d like to hear a Thin Lizzy cover. I think Cowboy or Emerald would be cool.
I also think it would be cool to hear the band cover Pere Ubu. Final Solution would be a great choice.

September 25, 2006 at 2:21 pm #121144That reminds me of a time a few years back when J was doing a solo show @ the Cat’s Cradle in Chapel Hill. We walked across the road to a whole foods store to get some lunch and this girl was playing guitar outside when we ate. She started strumming Sweet Home Alabama and as I was cringing J was shouting out "Turn it up".
Classic moment in a very strange day.

September 25, 2006 at 9:39 pm #121145One time at a sound check, J & some of the Cobra Verde guys were playing
Mississippi Queen by Mountain. It was pretty damn cool.I also heard J ,Lou, and Murph play Babylons Burning by the Ruts at a sound check before. Both tunes would make great covers.
Althogh, If I could pick a Mountain song for the band to cover it would have to be
Theme from an Imaginary Western, For Yasgur’s Farm, or Nantucket Sleigride.September 26, 2006 at 7:37 am #121146"grungehead " wrote:neil diamond-cinnamon girlYou mean Neil Young?
I still really want to hear J do "Like a Hurricane" by Neil Young but given that he hates all the comparisons he gets to the man, I doubt it’ll ever happen.
